Restorative Yoga: A 30 Minute Class for Deep Relaxation

Have you tried restorative yoga?

It’s a very gentle form of yoga for all levels in which all of the poses are done on the floor with the use of lots of props (such as blankets, pillows and cushions) for support. The idea is to get really nice and comfy and to take time to rest in long-held, relaxation postures while staying mindful of the breath. It’s a great way to end a busy day or simply something nice to offer yourself when you are in need of a bit of self-care and nurturing.

So I invite you this week (and why not every week!?) to set aside 30 minutes where you will not be disturbed to shift from doing mode into being mode, and relax fully in this restorative class.

  1. Thank you for this restorative yoga session, Sharee. The emphasis, as your title indicates, is truly on deep relaxation. Because of that I found the session to be extraordinarily restful and calming. You are a genuine master teacher, and your skills are a blessing to all. Again, thank you so much.
